I’ve been burning some of the old files on my hard drive to CD-RWs, to make room, and for some reason, nowadays you can’t buy cd cases with the labels like you used to be able to. Can you buy the labels-the lists-by themselves at least?

Thanks!
ETA: and by “Label” I mean the insert where you can list the different data on it-my sister had a label stuck to the CD itself, and when it came loose, it wrecked her CD.
Sticking labels on CDs is a very, very bad idea. The label throws the disc off-balance, which can potentially damage your CD player, esp. high-speed computer drives. Or it can become loose & fall off, as you describe.
I’ve stopped using CDs almost completely. DVDs will follow shortly, I believe. High capacity (up to 32 Gb) USB thumb drives have become so cheap I wouldn’t consider using a CD or DVD for any personal data storage these days, and haven’t for nearly two years. I recently threw away four unopened RW CD packages, so as far as I’m concerned, that technology has achieved the status of vinyl records.
Yes, the 32 Gb USB drive is still fairly expensive, as of now (wait six months), but the 8Gb is really very cheap.
Unless I’m missing something, is there data type stuff that can only be stored on a CD these days?
Most people only have a CD player in their car, so there’s one application.
Many servers in production can’t boot from USB and need a CD for setup, restore, and/or new applications. That’s a solid business need.
Many people use a DVD player instead of (or in addition to) a DVR/TiVo/entertainment PC, so there’s a continued use for DVDs.
I think it’ll be a matter of decades before CD and DVD technology is as irrelevant as vinyl and cassette tapes (yes, outside of nostalgia and some esoteric uses).
