Lately, I have noticed that Cecil’s selected threads on the home webpage have been repeats of old topics - mostly covered in his books. Has Cecil gone “C”-nile? 
Surely there’s so many more new and fresh threads suggested by Dopers he could pick up on! What gives, Uncle Cecil?
He only comes out with one new column a week, as always. The rest of the week, they put out something like two classic Cecil columns, one new Mailbag, and one or two classic Mailbags.
Am I right in suspecting that the selected columns on the homepage are (at least sometimes) hauled up as a result of the topic arising in GQ? - it seems that way, but it might just be coincidence.

BTW, while Cecil’s columns are rerun (our “Classics,”) Mailbag/Special Reports are always fresh and new. Special Reports are not rerun.
At the present time, we are going through some of the older selections for Classics. For example, the one we ran yesterday was from 1973.
