Celebrities that surprise you by being nice people

Naahhh… O.J. couldn’t get away with it again, and he knows it. But it sure looks like Blake thought he was being slick by having someone else pull the trigger.

It’s gonna be the Trial of the Century!

Had coffee with and a book signed by Norman Spinrad in the 70s. Perfectly ordinary guy, as far as I could tell, but a kick-ass writer.

I was training at the Olympia gym in Minneapolis when Hulk Hogan came in and trained. Also perfectly polite, shared the equipment, spotted me without being asked - a nice guy. He sure used a lot more weight than I did. Then a kid, about eight years old, ran up and interrupted in the midst of a set to ask for his autograph. Hogan, without missing a beat, put down the weight, signed the autograph, spent thirty seconds chatting with the kid, asked him how his grades were (!), mentioned how important it was to pay attention in school, and the kid went off happy as a clam. I have no time for professional wrestling, but Hulk Hogan at least used his celebrity to push that particular kid a little in the right direction. Good for him.
