Celebrities you have a strange secret crush on (confess!)

Ben Folds.

I can’t be the only one that fanatisizes about a ménage-a-trois with Janet Reno and John Ashcroft.

Or maybe I can.

Drew Carey…Humor is very, VERY sexy

Which is why my vote goes to Michael Palin. Although I’m not a huge Monty Python fan, I dig him.

Also add Gabriel Byrne and Ewan Macgregor. But not “Moulin Rouge” or “Star Wars” Ewan. No, I like the torqued up, bad boy Ewan in “Trainspotting” and “A Life Less Ordinary.” So hot.

I’m afraid you’re by yourself with that, Dude!

Cynthia Stevenson (Bob’s daughter on “Bob”, Hope of “Hope and Gloria”)

Glenne Headly (as Francine Pefko!)

Bernadette Peters

Laurie Metcalf

another Sandra Bernhardt

Lisa Kudrow

Go rent Velvet Goldmine, ASAP. Ewan plays a character that is part Iggy Pop, part Mick Ronson, and ALL F*CKING HOT!! Jesus. There’s a scene where he’s on stage, and he pours baby oil on his chest, and rubs it around, and then dumps glitter on himself, and whips his pants off, and he’s all floppin’ around and glittery and oily and HOT AS ALL HELL. Goodness gracious me.

I see nothing odd about loving Ewan, though. My odd ones are:

David Bowie, Jeremy Irons (too old for me by far)
Marilyn Manson (yhee!)

LC

I can’t believe that my first post is about celebrity crushes, but here I go:

Paula Marhsal - The hot mom from the TV show “Hidden Hills”.

Mindy Burbano - The “Entertainment” reporter on the local news here in Los Angeles.

And I have to agree with cuauhtemoc**, and say that Merideth Vierra gets me going.

Tom Servo

I’m the wind, baby!

Bill Nye the Science Guy.
Vladimir Maiakovski.
Eric Sorenson, the CBC TV reporter.

Oh, and this isn’t so much strange as hideously embarrassing, but… Matt Shepard. :frowning:

Some of these are "me too"s

Crispin Glover - a la Back to the Future
The MacManus Brothers in The Boondock Saints, although that may not be a strange crush, per se
John Cleese
Batman in the cartoon series and Terry McGinnis in Batman Beyond
ditto on Ewan MacGregor in Trainspotting and Velvet Goldmine
Bill Nye the Science Guy is sexy

Egad!

Billy Boyd, aka “Pippin” from the LOTR movies. So I’m a perv hobbit-lover, sue me.

It’s the accent, man. Makes my bones melt.

Oh, and Joel Hodgson from MST3K. Sleepiness can be sexy!

Thank you matt_mcl!
Bill Nye the Science Guy all the way!!
And here’s poor little me thinking I’m the only one…

I’ll second the entire list , but for Karen and Mrs. Crabapple: what are you thinking there??

No really, after it was clear you didn’t mean Mrs. Doutbfire her/himself, I could also understand that one.

I remember when seeing said movies I had a similar feeling to you; in fact I do not see what is so strange about such a crush, provided you do not equate attractiveness to youth. Prof. Albright looks nice and has a difficult yet intriguing character. I also liked Annette Bening in The American President, but especially in American Beauty I adored her legs. And Annabella Sciorra looks gorgeous in mostly any movie I’ve seen with her. What’s not to like?

An added secret crush of mine, however, is Janeane Garofalo (sp?). Apparently a lot of people are put off by her well-rounded body. But she isn’t bloated or anything, as a nice sweetly round face, beautiful dark eyes, and a nasty sense of humor. Wouldn’t it be so great to embrace her and - whatever comes up in those dirty minds of you SDMB-ers. I didn’t understand, when seeing The Truth about Cats and Dogs, why anyone would prefer that blond stick-figure whats-her-name.

What? Was this TMI? :o

And TTT, don’t feel bad. If I liked females I’d like Janene Garafalo.

Dammit, Yeoman Janice Rand. I love that hairdo.

And Leela from Futurama.

I had a dream last night about Jimmy Cagney . . .

…ok…and Agent “Elle” from the MIB cartoon series. That Voice… (quick…need to think of second grade math teacher before I stand up)

Rosie O’Donnell.

I cried when she came out as gay. :frowning:
