Andy White, the Scotland-born session musician who played drums on the Beatles’ debut single “Love Me Do” and “P.S. I Love You,” passed away Monday in New Jersey after suffering a massive stroke. He was 85.

As usual, when the weather begins to get colder, people begin to die. Except the ones on my list.

Phil “Philthy Animal” Taylor, dies at 61.

And I have Lemmy. :frowning:

Former NY Knick player Michael Wright found murdered Tuesday November 10th. The details are horrific, so the link is in a spoiler box. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

Vincent Roy Margera (July 3, 1956 – November 15, 2015), more commonly known as Don Vito, was an American reality television personality known for his appearances in Viva La Bam, Jackass, Haggard and the CKY videos alongside his nephew Bam. His career was ended with his conviction for child sexual abuse.

I’m picking Fidel Castro and Queen Elizabeth for next year. Nobody dies in my list so I’ll go for the immortals

Don’t forget Keith Richards, if that’s the way you’re leaning

It wasn’t his first time in a coma. I thought he would pull through.

It’s on.

Saeed Jaffrey, Indian actor.

Oh that’s too bad. I didn’t know his name, but when I saw his picture, and saw listed some of the things he was in, I recognized him. Dang, he was in the business of acting forever!

P.F. Sloan, who wrote a number of 1960s hit songs, either as solo author or together with Steve Barri, died at age 70.

So it’s been a bad month to be a drummer.

Along with the drummers mentioned already there are these (not overly famous):

Eddie Hoh
Jose Luis Properzi
Brandon Carlisle
Bogdan Enache

From the picture, I would have guessed the cause of death was being hit in the back by two rockets.

Regards,
Shodan

In the category of noteworthy deaths that probably don’t count in Baker’s Death Pool:

ESPN has an article that Doug Flutie’s father and mother died with a hour of each other, of heart attacks.

It doesn’t really count, but it is sad. It reminds me of the death of “Wierd” Al Yankovic’s parents, Nick and Mary, who died together in their home, of carbon monoxide poisoning. I saw a show Al did before the funeral because he said as long as he was working he wasn’t crying.

Milton Pitts Crenchaw, a flight instructor who trained the Tuskegee Airmen — the first African-Americans to fly combat airplanes in World War II — has died in Georgia. He was 96.

Likely no one had him but I like to recognize these individuals who made a difference.
