Well, I’ve only been Catholic Lite for about fifteen years. Before that I was ELCA, and before THAT I was raised LC-MS. I switched from the denomination of my birth when I decided women should have equal standing with men in the church. How scandalous is that?
I left my LCMS church and am now ELCA in part for the same reason. Pretty scandalous.
ETA: and I’ve been Catholic Lite now for 30+ years. Was raised Catholic. I converted my then-girlfriend, now-wife from Catholicism to ELCA. But she says she’s still Catholic.
And I went the other way. Raised ELCA (then ALC), and now LCMS. LCMS still does the traditional pipe organ music and liturgy.
ETA: Beyond gaining favor with the Death Mistress, what does this have to do with gaining valuable points from croaked celebrities?

No, Reform Jews (of which I am one) are far more Jewish than the Reconstructionists. They’re the Methodist and Unitarians.

I’ve never tried to explain other than Orthodox, Reform and Conservative.
And of course, on the other end, there are the Shomar Shabbas, who make the Orthodox look Reform
All this talk of religion in the Death Pool thread is kind of disconcerting.
To explain exactly how we, as individuals, ask the Lord to look with disfavor on those people we have listed who, being naughty in our sight, shall hopefully snuff it?
