Actor Geoffrey Lewis has died. I remember him for frequently co-starring with Clint Eastwood, but he had many other roles. One was as an American diplomat. Samuel Gummere, in The Wind and the Lion.

He was a very good character actor. Until I saw Jim Beaver post about his death I had no idea he was the father of Juliette Lewis. I don’t know how I missed that.
You know those “Keep Calm and Carry On” posters (and shirts, and coffee cups, etc.), and all their many variations? I saw someone wearing a shirt that said, “Keep Calm and Fuck Cancer.” 
I wish I could have that shirt, except I couldn’t wear it in from of my mother. She has lung cancer.
