Dammit, now I have to beehive my hair and get it myself.
Actress Ellen Albertini Dow has died; she was 101.
It’s only a matter of weeks since I looked her up and realised she was still alive. I feel personally responsible for this one, jinxing that poor old lady.
I had her back when I did my celebrity list of film people 95-100 years of age. Now she dies!
Do you have a penchant for death-takes-a-holiday type lists? (Not that I am doing any better, swampbear is still pissed off at the crowd.)
No, not really. I’ve been doing themed lists the last few years, that was the first.

Themes my Aunt Sally, points is points!
Last year I did people born on December 31st, which happens to be my own birthday. Two of my selections were even born on the very same day as I, Alexander Salmond, who was at the time First Minister of Scotland, and Herman Tilke, a German engineer and race driver.
This year I need a bunch of elderly astronauts to go on a very dangerous mission.
Man, you missed Alicia Rhett by 3 days.
Wait, wait.
I thought they were all born on the same day as you were.
Salmond and Tilke were born on December 31, 1954. The other people were born on December 31 but in other years.

My brother was born on January 1. Shortly after midnight. The doctor kicked my dad out of the delivery room, because he kept trying to get my mother to push Erick out before the ball dropped, just so he could claim him on dad’s taxes.

Michael Blake now Dances With Worms.
