Celebrity Death Pool 2015

79 points–and I bet no one had him.

I was just coming here after seeing that news. Nobody did have him

Sad. We all mourn the [del]wasted points bonanza[/del] loss of a talented young man.

It’s been a quiet month [del]in lake Wobegon[/del] on the Death Pool. We’ve had only one death for points in August, Frank Gifford for a whopping 16 points back on August 9, and only one player had him.

I know the second half of the year tends to have a bit less action than the first half, but *sheesh. * C’mon, you celebs, stop being big babies about it and give it up!
Yeah, I’m lookin’ at you, Valerie. You too, Joost!

Oliver Sachs, sadly dead at age 82

Oliver Sacks’ brain is no longer functioning at 82:

Brian
Arrg, ninja’d

Don’t mind me. The sound you hear is me angrily crossing off my top name of the 2016 list.

Wes Craven, the director of “A Nightmare on Elm Street” and “Scream,” has died of brain cancer at 24 points.

Wayne Dyer, the self-help guy, has died.

Jesus Christ.
Give me a hospital.

Guy scared the shit out of me when I was a kid. Cheap Thrills. Thanks Wes!

I guess he was a fan of Emile Coué. “Every day in every way, I’m getting better and better!”

And just like that, 3 more drop dead …

RTFirefly please use this power for good in the future…

The problem is, all three were pointless, for us at least.

I’ve been thinking lately of polishing up my list for 2016. I can’t decide whether to keep it, try something completely different, or think up a new theme.

I *swear * the name I muttered in that secret incantation was ‘Cheney,’ not ‘Craven’!

Already missed midnight tonight, I’ll have to try again tomorrow.

I liked Wes Craven. You, I’m not sure of.:dubious:

That’s OK, certainly there have been other people who have failed to like me, yet life goes merrily on.

My new theme will be people that actually die on schedule.

hbth

I do not see how.

I think you may have been dreaming that.
