Time for him to die?
Can’t fight this dying any more?

Thanks, y’all, for reminding me why I loathed REO back in the day.
Subway co-founder Fred DeLuca, who turned a sandwich shop he started as a teenager into the world’s largest fast-food chain, died Monday. He was 67.
His death was announced Tuesday by the company, which gave no other details.
DeLuca’s death came two years after Subway said he had been diagnosed with leukemia and was scaling back on his leadership role at the company. It also came just weeks after the 50th anniversary of Subway, which is known for its “Footlong” sandwiches and says it has more than 44,000 locations around the world.
Baseball announcer Milo Hamilton has called his last game.
Wow, I remember when he broadcast for the Pirates. Sorry to hear this, but I also had NO IDEA he was so old. Man, I must be getting old too. ![]()
Looks like Joan Collins’ sister, the novelist Jackie has left 23 points on the table.
I had a feeling about her this year. Not the strong kind of lifesaving feeling that would get her on to my list. More the vague kind of feeling that means certain death.
Todd Ewen, the former NHL enforcer called “The Animal” for his rugged play and fighting ability, died Saturday. He was 49.

Mourning for Jack Larson over in Cafe Society.
I’m in mourning because he wasn’t on my list, not even as an alternate.
Not even Superman can get points for someone who didn’t have anybody pick him!
Govorner Scott Walker kicks … Oooops, wrong forum. Never mind.

It has not been satisfactorily established that he was ever living.

I just found out that Candice Vadala, aka Candida Royalle, died on September 7th. She died of cancer at age 64.
Royalle was a major figure within a certain genre of filmmaking; namely porn. She started as a performer but decided that nobody was making porn marketed to women, so she started her own production company. Nowadays, “female friendly” and “couples” porn is a major segment of the genre and Royalle essentially invented it.
Norman Farberow, founder of the United States’s first comprehensive suicide prevention center, lived to a very ripe age.
Take another one off the “I thought he died years ago” list.
Never mind that; look at the bottom:
Anyway, I think that even if all the rest of my nominees were to die, I’d still not make first place.
