Celebrity Death Pool 2017

Near miss for Clams, a list we can all hope rises to the top of the rankings:

Al-Qaeda confirms death of senior leader in Syria
Al-Qaeda confirmed on Thursday that a U.S.-led coalition drone strike had killed senior leader Abu al-Khayr al-Masri

Radio announcer Fred Fisk dead at 96.

Oh magic deathshroom, you need to amend your listing: two people selected Emperor Akihito and one person selected Akihito, which I believe is the same guy.

all flowers bloom at different times…

Talk about “dead air…”

Three of us are banking on chrysanthemums.

90s singer/musician Tommy Page has died of an apparent suicide. He was 46.

I was watching a movie on TCM this afternoon, while visiting my mother. Only saw about the last half. It was a Hitchcock movie from 1942, “Sabatouer” I didn’t really recognize any of the actors until the film was over and Ben Mankawiez(sp) came on and was giving some other details about the film. The guy who fell from the Statue of Liberty, near the end, was Norman Lloyd!! He was only 28 when he made that movie, and he’s still around, at 102. I best remember him as Dr. Auchlander from “St. Elsewhere” Several years ago I had him on my DeathPool list, when I did a theme of celebs who were at least 95.

Nobody has him now, after all, he’s negative points, but dang, that guy has really hung in there.

Physician, heal thyself.

We saw his most recent appearance in a silly flick called Trainwreck. At just one point, he was still acting (and, according to imdb, still driving).

Noted underground comix cartoonist Jay Lynch, dead at age 72.

If you look at my list, you can edit this to say “Stage 4 Cancer Patient, Heal Thyself”…

Geoff Fox

Shannen Doherty

Brian Kennedy

Joe Simpson

Sir Colin Meads

Robert Osborne, host of Turner Classic Movies for 23 years, has died at 84.

No takers for Jay Lynch or Robert Osborne…

Shit! Well that just ruined my entire f-u-c-k-i-n-g day.

Martin McGuinness, 66, is seriously ill.

Thomas Starzl, first surgeon to attempt a liver transplant, and a few years later perform the first fully successful liver transplant, dead at 90.

Former pop star and record exec Tommy Page has died at age 46, reportedly via suicide.

Psst! Post #887

Judge Thomas "The Prick" Platt bites the dust leaving 9 points on the board.
