British TV children’s show host Geoffrey Hayes has died, aged 76. He is most famous for the long-running show Rainbow, which was broadcast internationally, including in New Zealand during my own childhood.
I’ve also just read on Twitter that legendary comic book artist Carlos Ezquerra has died. Most prolific within the pages of UK comic 2000AD, he helped co-create Judge Dredd, was the main artist on Strontium Dog, and countless other incredible works that helped establish and maintain the comic’s signature style.
