John Singleton, director of Boyz n the Hood is in ICU after suffering a stoke.
Ominously, the brief statement says Singleton “suffered a stroke while at the hospital.” No word on why he happened to be at the hospital at that time.
It appears he went to the hospital with leg weakness while traveling (which sounds like it could have been a blood clot that traveled to the brain.) The stroke has been reported to be “minor”.
