Celebrity Death Pool 2019

9 points for me, and a good excuse to watch my favorite cheesy '80’s miniseries on DVD.

12 points for Irish author Philomena Lynott, who died back on June 12. She was also the mother of Thin Lizzy’s Phil Lynott.

Beth “Mrs. Dog” Chapman dead at 51, and 49 points for probably a few of us.

It was close but managed to get on the board in the first half of the year.

Nine folks had Mrs. Dog

Just it of interest, I don’t play, but what do the number columns indicate: score, ?, ?.
I’ve been meaning to ask.

I made an erro in scoring, will be back shortly.

Here are the corrected scores. Leaffan, the first number is the total of points for the player, the second is how many correct picks they have, and the third is how many of those picks are unique.

Max Wright, character actor best known for playing Willy Tanner in the 80s show ALF has been fired off to Melmac at age 75.

As always, RIP. And yeah, me too; I was thinking that this year it was going to be a goose egg for me.

Ah. Thank you.

Bad day for character actors. Billy Drago died too.

I did a thread search, and didn’t see it listed, but actor/comedian Steve Levy died back on January 21. He was 58.

Tyler Skaggs, pitcher for the Angels, is pulled from the game at 73 points.

Well I did my usual July health check and --------- just the one I knew of between both pools. I had hopes …

Susan Bernard, dead at 71.

The Deadites caught up to the The Amazing Bob Dorian

He certainly wouldn’t have been eligible for the pool, since he was famous because of his disease, and particularly what he did to get it, but Luis Alvarez passed away on June 29, at the age of 53, three days after handing over his police badge to Mitch McConnell as a punctuation mark on his testimony to Congress about the Victim Compensation Fund.

Report: Auto industry legend Lee Iacocca dead at 94

He will be buried in a coffin that looks sporty, but is actually a repurposed Ford Falcon.

I always loved how he made an acronym out of his name: I Am Chairman Of Chrysler Corporation of America.
