He was supposedly on suicide watch, since he’d already tried once since he was imprisoned. Given the number of prominent and well-connected people he could have testified about, I don’t think it’s tinfoil hat territory to wonder whether a prison guard was slipped a few thousand dollars to be less than fully attentive while keeping an eye on Epstein.
