‘Black Panther’ actor Chadwick Boseman dies at 43 after 4-year fight with colon cancer

That’s fucked up. I wonder what the plan is going forward for the Black Panther character and movies.

So tragic.

They will replace him somehow. In the Harry Potter movies Dumbledore was played by another actor after Richard Harris passed. Granted, he wasn’t THE main character, but he was important.

Clifford Robinson, Portland Trailblazer basketball star, dead from cancer at 53.

This is my first time back in about 2 years. In 2018 work got weird and by the time I remembered I hadn’t done my deadpool list, it was Jan 3 2019 LOL. Then last year I was recovering from open heart surgery. Assuming I remember, I’ll be submitting a list this year and get back on the bandwagon!

When I first pulled up this thread, I did have to chuckle at this line in the 2020 intro: "This past year has been exciting so far, and 2020 should be just as great!!!. " Oops…

Welcome back, and we hope to see you in December.

Dude lost to my Pistons in the 1990 NBA finals. I hated that Trailblazer team! However, he also played for the Pistons later, so I like him.

Julia Reed, chronicler of Southern life and food, dies at 59.

Author Randall Kenan dies at 57.

 That hurts my feelings. I love Let the Dead Bury Their Dead. It perfectly captures the eastern NC accent and attitudes.

Leslie Freas, the twin sister of actress Linda Hamilton, has died at 63. She appeared in Terminator 2 as Sarah Connor’s double.

Gerald Carr, commander of the last Skylab mission, died August 26th.

Georgetown coaching great John Thompson dead at 78.

In real life, “the king is dead, long live the king,” so there’s no reason not to replace him, so long as the writers come up with a good (works within the movie and is respectful to Boseman) story for T’Challa’s death.

Erick Morillo, DJ Known for ‘I Like to Move It,’ Dies at 49

Arnold Spielberg, electrical engineer who managed the project that created Point of Sale technology, and later managed the project that created the computer on which the programming language BASIC was developed, dead at 103.

He was also Steven Spielberg’s father.

Points is points but sometimes I feel worse about them than others. My favorite baseball player Tom Seaver dead at 75.

I just heard. Covid-19 combined with dementia. Very sad to hear.
