Man I am glad to be here. I’ve been sick since Thursday. Didn’t go to work even on Friday, and I haven’t taken off for illness in twenty years. Had fever, hard chills, nausea, cough. My sister the pharmacist insisted I go get tested for, you know what. I actually got the test results in about thirty hours. Negative, what a relief. Isn’t it strange when you are glad it’s just, say, the flu? Anyway, I’m feeling a lot better, and yesterday I started eating again…When I lose my appetite, that’s when I know I’m not well, but it hasn’t been like this since I can remember. I think I’ll even go to work tomorrow.

Glad to hear it was ‘only’ the flu! I’ve had it twice, and while I don’t want to get it a third time, it’s still preferable to Covid-19.
My main advice is, don’t try to put in a full week of work as soon as you’re up for working a full day or two. Work some part days, or work a couple of full days then take a day off. And if your body seems to be saying it’s not sure about working on a given day, listen to it. Coming back too fast can knock you right back on your ass again.
