Celebs who are aging well

Mary Kay Place often does character roles in which she looks old and bedraggled, but in real life she’s cute even with very little makeup. Mary Kay is my age (60). From time to time she shows up at school reunions, and I’m quite sure she hasn’t had any plastic surgery. Sometimes “cute” women age better than “beautiful” ones.

I saw her at one of my high school reunions a few years ago - she is awesome. Better than she was in high school, IMHO.

The woman I always think of in these threads is Japanese actress Sayuri Yoshinaga. She was one of the biggest movie starts of the 60s here. This is what she looked like in 1963 at age 18: http://kochi-bunkazaidan.or.jp/~museum/nakahira/dorodarake1.jpg

This year, at age 63, she played the mother to 10 and 12 year-old girls and she didn’t look one bit miscast: http://secondlife.yahoo.co.jp/images/hobby/special/080124/topImg01.jpg

Of course, there’s also Catherine Deneuve:

I think Jane Seymour is one of Hollywood’s greatest beauties and she’s still a looker at 57.

When I saw her as the principal in Sky High I thought the same thing. She *has * changed, but still looks good for her age, quite attractive. BTW, I felt old when I had to explain the joke in that movie, to my nephews. The one line where an exasperated Carter says. “After all, I’m not Wonder Woman!”

Someone must be needing him, feeding him.
