Cell tower threat to health.

Hi there everyone :),I am very worried currently about my family moving houses next to this huge celltower…

there is a stick at the picture where i planted it,that will be the edge of the backyard of the house

I’ve calculated the length and it’s aporximately 1152 feet away from the stick"yard".I know that the antenna is not directly to me"about 90 degree away",but i just want to know what’s the most safe distant to this thing.
Please help me out with this guys,il be glad if you got anything to post
I love my family very much,i wouldn’t want them having cancer from because of that celltower.

I found this news story on www.bbc.co.uk regarding a mobile phone mast in a school playground. Some relevant parts of the article:

The Department for Health has said that transmitter masts are no cause for concern, and the National Radiological Protection Board (NRPB) has said there is no scientific evidence for any health risks from them.

Dr Gerard Hyland, of the Department of Physics at the University of Warwick, has argued that transmitter masts should not be sited near schools because evidence showed they posed a threat to children’s health.

He said that although the intensity of radiation from transmitters had been shown in tests to be safe, its frequency had not been.

The frequency of pulses in transmitter emissions, he said, could affect the brains of young children which were still developing up until the age of about 12.

The NRPB’s currrent position is that these masts have not caused demonstrable harm.

Orange is aware that some people may have concerns over the alleged health effects, but there is no current substantiated research that makes a link between radio waves, transmitter masts and long term public health risks.

So the official line is that there has been no evidence to suggest long-term health risks from mobile phone masts though some people do still have reservations. Personally I would be bold and put my faith in the government that if there were any health risks associated with living close to a phone mast they would not let you live there.

You know, I have to keep paying for a land-line phone because cell phone service is very iffy in my house. You’re certainly not going to have that problem!
