Cellmates of rich people

I’ve just been reading about the well-deserved imprisonment of Conrad Black. I expect his cellmates will try to cultivate him. But I’m wondering, do such friendships typically last post-prison?

Daily Mail Alert!

Disgraced former Cabinet minister Jonathan Aitken apparently remains cosy with his former cellmate, namely ex-armed robber and cat burglar Mickey ‘Spider’ Aguda.

As a condition of parole, folks are not allowed to hang out with other felons, so inviting the ol’ cellmate over for the weekend polo match is frowned upon.

No more parole in the federal system. You do the time, then you are a free man…

“Cultivate him” here meaning “bone him up the ass while he squeals like a little piggy.”

I’m sure the words ‘Ma bitch be’s erudite’ will soon be floating around the prison.

Why is it such fun to wish ill fortune on the arrogant Lord Black of Crossharbour?

Isn’t it possible to serve only 85% of your sentence pending good behavior?

Yes, but the remainder of the sentence is done away with. You aren’t on any type of supervision once you are released.

Not quite. There is federal probation, if you are sentenced to it.

I know a guy who was cellmates with Jim Bakker of PTL fame. They remained casual acquaintances after their release, not really what I would call friends but they spoke occasionally.

No doubt that was when Rocko stopped by to pick up his hush money to keep from going public about their nighttime encounters.

Well, it’s only available online if one joins, but Frank Magazine is having a “deflower Tubby” contest. If you’re the first one to do Conrad, you can win an iPod.
