Cessna will buy Beechcraft

Well, Textron, the company that owns Cessna, will buy Beechcraft. Cessna shows little interest in promoting General Aviation, at least insofar as providing the aircraft needed to produce the pilots needed to fly the products they do want to make. The Skyhawk is priced well out of the range of its target market. In October, Cessna said ‘there’s no future’ for the Skycatcher.

Beechcraft has been out of the training/family market for 30 years. I wonder if they’ll keep making the Bonanza?

Well, as long as there are doctors that need killin’…

That’s what the SR-22 is for.
