Chakra Nadmara Recommends a Metal Album - Part 1

Before I go on, I should emphasize that I am primarily interested in old-school extreme metal, so if you have only a fleeting interest in metal (or none at all), you probably won’t like anything I recommend. Considering how few people here seem to be into metal, this may be a waste of time, but I hope there’s at least one person interested. I’ll try to recommend an album about once a week if I get any positive feedback. Ready then?
Sarcófago - INRI**
Genre: Black/Death/Thrash
Year: 1987

Figured I’d start with an essential. These Brazilians were absolutely integral to black metal when it was first starting out, paving the road for so many bands to come. Bestial and raw, but that’s not to say it hasn’t withstood the test of time; it still blows pretty much any metal album out of the water to this day.

Sample: Satanic Lust

Happy listening.
