It’s gotta be Blistex Regular SPF 15. All other brands and/or flavors wear way too quickly.
don’t worry, don’t ask
Don’t wanna know
You mean you don’t carry one on the right hip, with 2 back ups in your carry all?
How do you live?
And percypercy, where does one find Dr. Pepper flavor?
I looooooves Dr. P!
They don’t? You can still get it around here… and according to bonnebell.com they still make it. I just tried to look up places to buy it online, but I can’t find any - lots of places seem to be selling Dr. Pepper, though!
I think I can still find that around here, too. I’m fairly certain it’s discontinued but I live in the middle of nowhere, practically.
However, if you’d be willing to try a more colourful/frosty vanilla mint gloss, try Bonne Bell Enticemint in Nilla Mint (which is white and pearly and looks horrible on me because I’m so pale), or Bonne Bell Lip Frosting in Pink Nilla Mint (which is light, sheer and frosty).
harmless, I got the same Blistex pack as you did, only mine came with a bonus of Peaches and Creme!
For any of you curious about new flavours, try http://www.mylipstuff.com - they have every flavour imaginable. Apparently, most have more scent than flavour which is good if you don’t want to be licking them off. I’ve been dying to try their stuff, and I fully intend to once I can afford it. It’s cheap though, and everyone says it’s awesome. I asked her to make the maple balm. The girl who makes it is awesome and will answer any questions you have.
Carmex feels AWESOME, but it tastes like soap and grandmother-perfume. You have to really resign yourself to having that on your lips. I sometimes put Carmex on my nose, too - ever since it got cold, I’ve had itching and flakiness there, much like when you blow your nose too much. The cooling sensation feels fantastic.
I’m a HORRIBLE lipbalm/gloss addict. And I can prove it.
My husband got that same pack. That’s how I got onto those flavors
RINNI GOTS LIPBALM
Glass.
Derleth gots…glass?
Another vote for Dr. Pepper. Yummy!
Right now I’m carrying around Sugar Plum Fun by Bonne Belle. It’s purple and sparkly and makes me feel a good ten years younger when I put it on.
Believe it or not, there are some absolute freaks out there who walk around without the requsite 2-3 lipbalms on their person at all times. I don’t know how they manage in day-to-day life.
And I’m just positive I’ve seen the Bonne Bell Dr. Pepper lip balm at either Walgreens or Target or CVS or Safeway…or somewhere recently. I’ll pay attention next time I see it.
ewwwwwwwwww tuna? thats gross! anyway, my flavor is cherry chapstick, and I put it on like 4 times a day, and ALWAYS before i go to sleep. Softlips is nice too, makes your lips tingle
I have an Avon Dew Kiss lip balm addiction, courtesy of my mother-in-law. Every time she orders Avon I have her order me a half-dozen or so tubes. It doesn’t have a flavor, and it has a strange smell, but it’s the best balm I’ve ever used. IIRC I currently have about eight tubes of it in various places.
The runner-up would be the natural Blistex (in the pale green tube, the name has “herbal” in it). It has a nice texture and a smell and flavor I find strangely addicting.
I like the flavor of cherry Chapstick, and I like the way it gives my lips a bit of a tint (I’m not much of a makeup kind of gal), but I swear when I use Chapstick for an extended period of time my lips end up drier than before I used it.
I’m an addict. Brand/flavor isn’t terribly important as long as I get my fix. (However, I can’t do the medicated ones, they make my lips almost painful.)
PS: eBay is like crack when it comes to this addiction, it’s too easy to buy lip balm in huge lots. But I am saving money on this addiction now!
You bet your glass.
Haven’t you ever heard the urban legend that Carmex put ground glass in its lip balm to increase demand?
Anyone?
Just as well, I suppose. It’s a load of crap.
Wow…I guess I’m more of an addict than I thought, I’ve tried most every flavor on this thread!
