Characters who seem like sweet lil bunnies but are actually psycho whackjobs

So you’re overlooking her willingness to invoke Satan because her boyfriend cheated on her, right?

Not to mention that she was going to flat-out, no-two-ways-about-it murder Dawn Summers for no good reason.

Willow only gets a pass on being evil because she’s charming and a babe. Nobody ever blinks at pointing out that Buffy’s a bitch, after all.

You and I have had this argument before, even down to you bringing up the Veruca and Oz incident. It’s why I was so surprised in the first place.

I’ll take your word for our having had the argument before, though I don’t recall it. But then, I only ever listen to your half of the conversation anyway, as I already know what I think.

Just ran a search on my username + Veruca and it was the second result.

The three most interesting things about this are I remembered a four post argument from almost three years ago; you used pretty much the same argument this time as last; and I got you to backpedal on calling her evil, though you’ve obviously reverted to your previous opinion.

Jenny from the L Word seem innocent enough at the beginning but was a total nut job by the end of the show!

Tsundere ( type B ) and Yandere seem relevant. Naturally, so do some examples in Split Personality.

You don’t need a good reason to murder Dawn Summers.

Or rather, Dawn Summers is a good reason to murder Dawn Summers.

I searched but obviously missed the extensive discussion of how River Tam is the poster child for this thread.

I thought we got rid of that sick bastard Fabulous Creature
–some sort of exorcism, by which of couse I mean decapitation. Is his spirit possessing YOU know?

I thought someone might mention River, and frankly I don’t think she qualified. She doesn’t seem sane in the first place. The only real question is what manifestation her insanity is going tot ake on any given day.

More of a time share, really.

Fair enough.

And perfect opportunity to point anyone who hasn’t been following xkcd this week to the recent series.

The race of little green aliens on the planet in Galaxy Quest who seemed sweet and quaint until they bared fangs, cannibalized their weak, and attacked the crew.

Not a psycho whackjob in a bad way, but Yoda. About the only redeeming moment in the new trilogy was seeing Yoda go from hobbling little philosopher lizard to total Ninja no-mercy badass (though he didn’t actually get any confirmed kills).

I could point out that he casually relieved the two Clone Troopers trying to kill him of the burden of their sad and pitiful lives. Or rather relieved themof their heads. Actually their lives were probably sad and pitiful too, given that they were bred to be soldiers entirely irrespective of their wills in a callous and frankly villainous ignoring of their rights as sentients, which, frankly, does not surprise me as the Jedi were, to a man, right bastards really, and were the good guys only in the sense that Palpatine was worse. Even so I’m not sure why ANYBODY roots for those bastards. I mean, I can understand wanting Han & Leia to win, as he’s cool and honest about being a scoundrel, and she fills out a bikini very nicely, but as for the Jedis, I spit in their general direction

What was I talking about?

Oh, right. I could point out that Yoda cut off two Clones’ heads with contemptuous ease, but I’m not prepared to admit to having seen any of those movies right now.

I can’t believe no one has mentioned Milton from Office Space. Squirrelly guy, mumbles a lot, seems harmless, sets the building on fire.
