Charles Manson Has passed

I need to see this in an episode of lucifer next season.

Ahh phooey. I say we make them fight to the death like in ancient Rome. Think of the ticket sales and Netflix revenues!

He didn’t “pass.” He died, and I hope he’s burning in hell.

We could always let the real wackos eat him later. On PPV. With a nice Chianti courtesy of the [del]taxpayers[/del] sponsors.

I voted for the reinstatement of the death sentence in Jan, 1974 went I was living in California so people like this monster would get the death penalty . What happen to the piece of shit body is it buried or cremated and thrown into the city dump yard ?

Unless there’s family who want the body he’ll be cremated, that’s the standard end for unwanted prisoners.

For all his failings, at least Manson wasn’t a Republican. That almost – almost, mind you – balances everything out.

I recall when Jimmy Carter’s bank-robbing nephew was released from prison while his uncle was President. Being the President’s nephew, of course he made the rounds of the morning talk shows. The kid had been in the same prison as Manson and apparently was befriended by him after the kid repaired some sort of appliance for him. A radio, I think it was. Seems Manson would talk to him a lot, and on TV he said we’d all better hope Manson was never, ever released. Said he was just bat-shit crazy.

I am not sure I needed Carter’s nephew to tell me he was bat-shit crazy ( pardon-SiamSiam). The nephew should of written a book. I might have read it. The ex-cons will be coming out of the woodwork on this , I predict.

I’ve heard that between incarcerations, Charlie’s favorite hobby was fatherhood. I don’t know how many confirmed kids he had out there but I bet they start showing up. Pleasent to think on, eh?!

I think only Mason Reese has been confirmed his offspring, right?

One of the downsides of being an agnostic is that you can’t place any faith [sic] in posthumous justice. Thus the only punishment we can give is in this life. I therefore agree that in the most egregious cases life in prison is more appropriate than the death penalty in that it is a long, long punishment, whereas the death penalty is at least relatively quick.

No, it does not. It absolutely does not.

Just an aside:

On Facebook the talk about Manson’s death has been restrained for obvious reasons, but it’s interesting just how much divides generations. I was explaining to a much younger friend why Manson was such a big deal…another younger friend chimed in with, “Oh, so that’s why? There’s a lot worse going on in the world right now.”

Kind of a sad commentary when you think about it.

Never mind that knowing about the murders evidently slaps another OLD label on my forehead, LOL.

I know, right? When I think of all that nutraloaf, wasted on the likes of him! It makes me want to exclaim things! Emphatically!!!

It would be a sad commentary if he had any chance at getting out of prison. As it is, it’s just another lifer losing all of their prospective parole hearings.

He wasn’t going to hurt anyone, or even seriously inconvenience anyone, ever again. His death, like much of his life, is really quite meaningless.

I saw him in NYC about 1980. He outgrew whatever cute he had during his 15 minutes. It wasn’t his idea what they did with him. Leave him alone, he’s a non-combatant.

At the risk of being whooshed, I have never heard Reese being mentioned as an offspring of Manson.

Look at them side by side.

Yeah, it’s just something I noticed and the past couple days I’ve mentioned it as if it’s science, and people think a second and say, “yeah, I remember hearing that”.

Heh, I just thought of my old bumper sticker back in West Texas 35 years ago: “Nixon/Manson in '84”

Bah! I’d vote for Manson over Trump. Admittedly, it helps that he’s dead.
