I remember “Big Fig,” but it was not CNR. It was a person with a very recognizable voice, and I’m sure we’d all recognize him if we could have seen him “out of fig”, but I don’t know who it was–he looked more like Rip Taylor.
CNR, however, DID dress up as a banana in the “Bic Banana” pen commercials.
