Charlie Chaplin Vs Mr Bean

Any thoughts on Mr. Bean vs. M. Hulot? I think the latter is far superior (I’m not a fan of Bean), but it might be a fairer comparison than Bean vs. Chaplin.

Atkinson as Blackadder is hilarious. Atkinson as Mr. Bean sets my teeth on edge.

Ditto. I’ve never found Mr. Bean even remotely funny.

Rowan Atkinson is indeed a great admirer of Jacques Tati. But I suspect you may have known that.
