Charlie's Angels II = Fresh Garbage?

One of the ads for the new Charlie’s Angels movie uses a song which, in turn, uses the old Spirit song, “Fresh Garbage,” as the musical foundation for one of those generic, monotonal, white-folkie-chick raps so popular these days.

Accurate as it may be, would you want to associate YOUR movie with fresh garbage?

It must be Pink. I heard a lot of griping a month or two ago that she had appeared on an MTV awards show doing a song that ripped off “Fresh Garbage.”

I’ve heard enough of it to think she PAID for it, not ripped it off. None of this sampling just enough notes so you don’t have to pay royalties.
