Can anyone help me find a tool that can chart the downward slope the markets have taken over the course of the recent recession?

I’m looking for the chart style that looks like an EKG line.

Like a stock index chart? I am sure they are not too hard to come by. Is this what you’re looking for?

I suppose going back one year would fit your recession timeline, but you can compare the major indexes going for the last few decades.
