Chase just upgraded us to their new Sapphire card. It’s blue.
On the back where the magnetic strip usually is, there’s no noticeable magnetic tape strip, just a place where it would be. I assumed it was embedded in the plastic, but there’s no evidence visible when I look at the edge with a magnifying glass. It’s possible the entire card is magnetic tape material, sandwiched between two thin sheets of plastic.
For anyone who has one, does yours have a strip (and if not have you successfully swiped it)?
