Well, it seems the ringleader has had a rap sheet that started 12 years ago when he was 15.
I think the X-box was just an excuse. He’s a violent felon that never should have been released on probation.
I did see Johnson make this comment on the news, something to the effect that he felt this crime deserved the death penalty, more so than any other he’d ever seen. It was a pretty emotional statement for a sheriff to make on camera and surprised me a bit at first but they then added that at least one of the victims was beaten so severly that even dental records were of no use in trying to identify him. Thank goodness all these guys were caught.
I see that Florida has reinstated the death penalty. Because of his violent past and the horrible nature of this crime, if Victorino is found guilty he’ll be quite lucky to escape it and just get life in prison.
