Chicago Bears

Probably not but that’s why a new owner might be able to finance it (through debt and equity). A Ryan, for example, would have the means to both raise equity and finance to build a domed stadium. I am sure that the city of Chicago would give something (TIF’s etc) if they could tie it into redeveloping the McCormick Place area/zone.

It’s an undervalued asset and better owners could do bigger things with it.

According to Under the Cap, the Bears are currently about $7 million under the cap, and last year they were about $3 million under. Neither of those is anywhere near the top 10. It’s not like they’re the Browns or the Jags or the Titans or the 49ers who have a lot of salary cap space.

Better two than one. I haven’t forgiven Minnesota for going to the biscuit dome, let alone this new thing that looks like a set from Logan’s Run.

It does such when your rival is better, but I don’t see why Bears fans would give up on the team.

My philosophy is this; if you saw your team win the championship, you’re ahead of a lot of fans. Bengals fans have never seen that. Eagles fans haven’t. Vikings fans? Nope. Bills, of course not. Other sports too… Canucks fans, Astros fans, Mariners fans have never even seen the team make a World Series…

I’m pretty sure that I know why the Canucks fans have never seen them in the World Series.
