I’ve found that eggs from chickens that are allowed to eat bugs and worms have better tasting eggs. Eggs at my Grandmother’s house, where the chickens wandered all over the place, tasted a lot better than the ones from our caged hens.
Hmmm. So if I want my scrambled eggs to taste better, I should just add a few worms and beetles to them?
I think I’ma pass.
I bread chicken with a mix of flour and dry bread crumbs seasoned with salt and pepper. I don’t think the breading has anything to do with how big the eggs are. By the time you bread them they ain’t gonna lay no more eggs.
Oh, and you’ll sometimes notice that an egg carton brags about how their chickens eat a 100% vegetarian diet. Kind of odd that they’re bragging about them being kept in poor conditions.
For the same reason that most houses are built with fewer than six bedrooms.
