Chicken, stir-fry veg. Suggestions?

I thought I’d cook chicken and stir-fry veg tonight. I’m out of garlic. The only onions (if any) are in the bag of frozen plants. I’m not going to the store. Here’s the plan right now: Fry the chicken in sesame oil. Add frozen stir-fry vegetables, a bit of salt, some soy sauce, and some red pepper flakes. Eat it with rice.

Without my posting an inventory of what’s in the fridge, does anyone have any suggestions?

Do you have any chicken or vegetable broth ? Or cubes ?

You can make a thick sauce out of that. Fry up the chicken until no longer pink, take it out fry up your onions for a little bit. Add everything else with the broth and simmer for 20 minutes the last 5 minutes add some flour to thicken it up.

I usually add any related spices, sauces, jerk sauce, hot sauce i.e. that I like to it.

Add some oyster sauce! That’ll make it taste slightly more authentic.

No onions, unless they’re in the frozen mix. No oyster sauce, dammit. I think I have broth, though, and corn starch for thickening.

Time to start cooking!

Well, that turned out adequately tasty. I stuck to the original plan, though I did the kosher salt and pepper with the chicken instead of later, and used Ibanez’s suggestion of adding chicken broth. (I used corn starch as a thickener.) Could’ve used a little… something. Maybe more soy sauce, or indeed oyster sauce. But I’m getting no complaints.
