I second the 25th as I will defintely be free.
I will also try to stop Resi’s and Chief O’Neill’s this weekend and get what info I can. In the past these get togethers have run about 10-15 ppl so that is what I will base my questions on. If it increases, we can easily accomodate more.
Lets start a list of those who will be coming, tentative, etc.
I will get some cheap motel prices/info.
Let’s see…the 25[sup]th[/sup] you say? Well, that works out nicely to almost exactly a month after Nor Cal-So Cal so I’ll be due for a DopeFest.

The 25th is doable for me too. There is a slim possibility that my hubby may want to come along for the ride, but that depends on whether my parents would be willing to watch my two younger kids for the weekend (probably not, but they do surprise me sometimes). If he decides to stay home, then sharing a hotel room with Bunny and wring would be okay by me.

I’ve been away for a bit (a wedding in Vienna, WHAT A CITY!!!), so haven’t read the board for a bit.
Anyway, I’m not sure when I’ll be around yet, it may be late August or possibly sometime in September (I don’t book flights in advance as I’m a poorly paid pseudo-academic, and so I’ll arrive when I can get a cheap flight), so I think the best thing is for you guys to carry on planning with what looks like being the 25th, and if I can make it, I will. If not, tough shit on me right;)?

If the guest list isn’t closed I’m in. I don’t care about the date…whenever is fine as far as I’m concerned. In fact, if anyone is up for a ‘smaller’ amount of debauchery I’m always up for a mini-dopefest in…uhhhh…preparation for the real thing (like I need an excuse to go drinking). No one’s ever had to twist my arm to get me into a beer garden!
I’m looking out the window now at some truly perfect beer garden weather and wishing the time was now…
Everyone come to the Rammstein concert with me in Cleveland, Pontiac Michigan or Merrilville Indiana. Please don’t miss it. I beg of you. I am only now, two days later, returning from the natural high that it provided me with. Or maybe they were infusing the air with speed at the venue.
August 25th is great for me! Resi’s (if you’re still considering it) has a beer garden, a back patio. The old, angry German guys sit inside in smoke, the sexy Germans sit OUTSIDE and smoke. So that’s where Jarbaby will be.
The Hopleaf, I think, is too small for debauchery.
X. Lincoln Square, up by my house (cough cough) also has the Brauhaus, and another cute li’l german pub that I can’t remember the name.
Anyway, Irish, German, Polish, Armenian…I’m in. That’s the short version of the post.
