Children's Lib and the Status of Minors

There’s also the issue that childhood memories are prone to unreliability (as indeed are most other sorts of memories, to a greater or lesser extent). We may look back on our own childhoods and think that we were pretty rational and clear-thinking kids who deserved more autonomy, but that might not have been how we actually came across to others at the time.

Mine aren’t particularly. Fine details, exact wordings of things, yeah. But reliable overall.

What is true of my memories are that they’re memories from a specific vantage point, and not an objective one.
