This is something we always forget about, but that always sounds like a great time. I’m putting the notice above on our fridge so I won’t forget this year.
We’ve lived in Chicago for 15 years and have never been to Chinatown (shakes head sadly). I’ve always wanted to go, but never knew where to go once we stepped off the el. I hate to say that we have no Chinese friends who live in the area to show us around.
Has anybody ever been (either to Chinatown in general, or to this celebration)? What’s it like? Any tips on where to stand to see the floats, and else what to do and see?
