Wikipedia says Chingachgook was portrayed in these films/television shows:
None of those sound familiar, but I remember the name from seeing the character on TV when I was little. Here’s the thing: In my mind, he was in a series. The only series featuring an Indian companion that was playing when I was little was Daniel Boone. (Wait… There was The Lone Ranger playing in reruns on weekend mornings.) Not actually thinking about it, I had the idea that the Indian on Daniel Boone was named Chingachgook. Since I know the character’s name was ‘Mingo’, I thought the character’s name may have been changed to that at some point.
Was there a series mid- to late-'60s that had an Indian named Chingachgook? If not, the only place I could have heard the name would have been catching The Pathfinder on one of the afternoon movie shows; but at the time, I was more into Japanese monster movies and other science fiction.
Are you thinking of Mark Twain’s pronunciation?

If Cooper had any real knowledge of Nature’s ways of doing things, he had a most delicate art in concealing the fact. For instance: one of his acute Indian experts, Chingachgook (pronounced Chicago, I think), has lost the trail of a person he is tracking through the forest. Apparently that trail is hopelessly lost. Neither you nor I could ever have guessed out the way to find it. It was very different with Chicago. Chicago was not stumped for long. He turned a running stream out of its course, and there, in the slush in its old bed, were that person’s moccasin-tracks. The current did not wash them away, as it would have done in all other like cases—no, even the eternal laws of Nature have to vacate when Cooper wants to put up a delicate job of woodcraft on the reader.

There was a TV show called Chingachook (sic), I remember it from the late 1960s but I was too young then to tell you much about it. Google is not being very helpful either.
Seriously? It was a pretty big movie when it came out, number 1 for a few weeks, in the top 20 grossing movies of the year. Won an Oscar for best sound.
Dude, you’re missing out. Go find it and watch. Great movie, and the scene at the end with Alice and Uncas is one of the all-time best moments in cinema. Seriously.

All in less than 30 seconds! (I just watched the scene on youtube)
It’s not just revenge - Chingachgook is also rendering his foe completely impotent in front of his followers before killing him.
