Will the American kids do the same work for the same wages as the “illegals”? If so, why won’t the contractors hire them?

With the following answer:
The reason is, the illegals will work for 30-50%-because they are not paying taxes.

I disagreed with that answer, quoted it, and posted a couple rhetorical questions to highlight the irrationality I perceived in Ralph’s statement.

You then quoted me, and substituted a new rational for Ralph’s original contention. I wasn’t sure if you were merely adding another possible response to the initial “why aren’t kids taking those jobs” question or if you were also dismissing Ralph’s response that “the reason is, the illegals will work for 30-50%-because they are not paying taxes.”

If GPS tracking units became small enough to implant irremovably into, for instance, the brain, would chipping illegal aliens as they are caught be a method for significantly reducing illegal immigration? Is there any international law by which such an operation would be illegal (presuming that the process was 100% safe)?

The first thing that came to mind was “coyote” clinics offering to take the chips off. I know you said irremovably butttttt… well, lots of IDs are supposed to be unfakeable, for example.

Amen. Better than jailing them, however (which only burdens an already overcrowded penal system), would be applying federal forfeiture laws like they do against drug lords. Seize their property, vehicles, factories, inventory, real estate, lock, stock and barrel. Not only would the illegals deport themselves, but it would be a self-funding operation.

Or if they ARE unremovable, jamming the signal one way or another. We obviously aren’t talking about some sort of multimegawatt transmitter, after all.

Which help show how this is about race and class, not the law. No one cares if the illegal immigrants are abused or killed, because they are breaking the law and thus deserve it; but when the generally white and richer employers face financial repercussions for breaking the law - well, that’s just unacceptable. It makes it hard to take all the ranting about illegals breaking the law puts them in the wrong seriously.
