As an aside, rjung, you might be interested to know that this was filmed in your neck of the woods at the Skating Edge Ice Center, home of the Bay Harbor Redwings, a youth minor hockey organization…I had my son playing on a hockey team against them many a time, and I either coached or managed against the Redwings as well. I saw this video, and it just made me laugh and cry at the same time.
Man, I miss youth hockey.

When Marty McSorely was on the Kings, and the games were in The Forum at Inglewood, I do remember some of the fans yelling to Marty when he did exactly what Jules (Samuel) was showing the kids…“Give him the Inglewood Jack!”

I believe so, but it’s been a long time since I’ve been in that neck of the woods since the Kings and Lakers moved to Staples Center. I noticed that Madonna had a concert there back in May '04. Since it’s next to Hollywood Park (horserace track), it might be demolished so they can build/expand a casino there, but I’m not totally sure that’s gonna happen.
Or build a new stadium for a NFL team
