Chrome (browser) most visited weird behavior

What are the rules Chrome uses for its “most visited” section on the standard homepage? I ask because in spite of visiting this site a few times a day for the past several weeks it never shows up in that section. Whereas a travel site I visited twice a couple of weeks ago is there, and so are many of the other sites I visit regularly, but SDMB never shows up.

What gives? Does it show up for you other Chrome users?

In my experience, you have to navigate directly to the site from a bookmark or entering the URL in the bar; clicking on a link doesn’t count. So I just Paste-n-Go a bunch of times and then X out any thumbnails on the Most Visited page that I don’t want until my desired page appears.

Oddly, it doesn’t seem to sync the most visited count across computers like everything else. I can’t decide if I like that or not.
