Cinnamon Toast Crunch is a great dinner...

With milk. I’m youthful, but not insane!

Hey, fuck you dude. I work full time, pay all my bills on time, and live on my own, three things many other people my age haven’t done. I am an adult. Trying to revoke someone’s earned status because of what they choose to eat for dinner is juvenile. And I don’t even eat that much cereal (I’m more of a chips person).

I’m with the cereal-for-dinner crowd. Usually it’s Cheerios, but sometimes I indulge while shopping and get Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Life, or Fruit Loops.

Oh, come on: handfuls of Cinnamon Toast Crunch make for an excellent snack! Come to think of it, all of the cereals I like are also excellent without milk…

I find French Toast Crunch to be infinitely preferable to its Cinnamon Toast counterpart for the evening meal. Cinnamon Toast Crunch is best for breakfast.

Not that I ever eat breakfast, really. Let me rephrase–Cinnamon Toast Crunch is best when you wake up at two in the afternoon and it’s too early to order pizza because, c’mon, you just woke up!

Last night, I had half a can of honey-roasted cashews followed by Cinnabon popcorn and some string cheese, while sitting on my couch in my Supergirl jammies and watching Raiders of the Lost Ark.

I’m well aware I’m not a “grownup.” I’m an adult, though, and that’s good enough for me.

Bleh.
I can’t stomach either.
Gimme Golden Grahams.

And an additional plus for the FTC–you can hold the little pieces of toast and pretend you’re a giant.

Or maybe that’s just me.

I Just found my Doper crush…

I was only amused until Trunk chimed in (yeah I caught this late) all judgmental and crap over what a LOT of non-hillbilly adults choose to eat for dinner.

Now I’m inspired. I’m stopping on the way home and grabbing me a BIG-ASS box of Honey-Nut Cheerios.

Probably even have some Monkey Bites for dessert.

Crunch Berries is the best cereal ever. The only thing better than Crunch Berries was when they had the ALL Berries cereal out. I like all Captain Crunch cereals, even the Peanut Butter one that sticks to your mouth as you eat it. I must say that I miss Choco Crunch, though. I’ve been hoping for that stuff to return for years now.

You know what else I’ve had a craving for for years now? Smurf Berry Crunch and C3POs. And Donkey Kong Junior. And Nerds cereal. Oh, and Pac-Man with the big Super Pac marshmallows. The old cereals were the best. Even Golden Crisp isn’t what it used to be. It somehow tasted better when it was Super Sugar Crisp. Cookie Crisp is a good holdout from the old days. Golden Grahams will do the job in a pinch, and the Pebbles cereals are always excellent standbys.

Count Chocula is one of the weakest of the Monster cereals. In order of tasty goodness, they are Franken Berry, Fruity Yummy Mummy/Fruit Brute (basically the same thing), Count Chocula way back from them and Boo Berry bringing up the rear because it’s far too cloying and sweet, even for me. And that’s saying something considering that I have been known to eat pure refined sugar all by itself.

Take me back to the good old days of cereal and spare me the nutrition, unless it’s a big fat bowl of Grape Nuts with a half cup of sugar in it. Yummy.

Back in college I did the Kix cereal for 5 meals in a row, only stopping at dinner the next day because somebody offered to drive me to the grocery store. Man, I loves me some Kix. For a little more flavorful cereal, I started eating Special K with Red Berries (why can’t they just call them strawberries?!), but then my roommates made fun of me because Kellogg seems to market that cereal exclusively to women.
Oh, and without milk. Eating cereal dry for 23+ years.

Somehow I knew you were a damn commie. Now you’ve just confirmed it.

Remember, America. Only you can support our breakfast industry during the war!

Monkey Bites? Holy s*it. I didnt realize they made them anymore. I now have purpose in my life again. Thank you mr bus guy!

Sorry if there’s any confusion - this:

is what I meant.

Now I have to go to Coldstone after work. Oh, the decisions … my personal favorite is coffee ice cream with fudge and caramel–the new girl doesn’t realize you’re only supposed to put in one brownie.

Monkey Bites - that’s usually my husband’s battle cry as he attacks me with our sock monkey.

Sock monkies.
Ya perv.

Heh, OMD is gonna be eatin’ cereal dry for a week, I took his milk money! :stuck_out_tongue:

Hey, I eat cereal for any meal. And I have a Jethro bowl, that’s even what I call it.

I humbly submit that Grins & Smiles & Giggles & Laughs is the best cereal ever produced. I would kill to find a fresh unopened box.

Not yet. The check is en route to x-ray. So for now, you stole HIS milk monkey.

Check and mate.
