Jesus, no the foreskin does not get ripped during sex! What do you think people have sex with, blenders?
The inside of the foreskin is a membrane similar to the lining of the vagina minus the lubrication producing glands. This membrane during sex gets micro tares, which allow for virus carrying fluids to enter the blood stream. The same thing applies to anal sex. The inside of the colon is kinda tender.
Studies have been done on African tribes. In areas of high aids percentages, tribes that don’t circumcise have a much higher rate of aids than tribes who circumcise.
All a moot point with condoms though, but condoms are not really made keeping the foreskin in mind. Just remember, retract the foreskin, then put on the condom. Pulling out and looking like a deflated snake is better than having the condom break.
No, but you’ve planted an intriguing idea in my head about a DIY circumcision to go along with my DIY appendectomy. Hmmm, must give this some further consideration.
Sorry, ** hedra**, but this just doesn’t seem possible. Do you have a cite to support this claim for memories from infancy and pre-birth? I need some help here.
Am I? No, due to my parents’ strong Scandinavian background. And I don’t smell, and I’m not dirty, thank you very much.
Would I? Nope, I don’t see any reason to perform an unnecessary operation on a healthy baby. That’s pretty much all there is to the decision, in my opinion.
so I know this thread fizzled out about a month ago, but I feel the need to put my 2 cents in anyway. I’m a young woman, so I am obviously not circumcised, and I don’t beleive in doing it to male babies. Personally (ie, sexually) I prefer the uncircumcised man! But that’s just a personal preference. I’ve been with four, and I’ve never encountered any kind of smell problem, and, at least according to my experience, seemed to be more sensitive physically than circumcised men. Not to say they couldnt’ last as long, just that they seemed to have more sensation in general. Plus, there’s just more to play with that way! Heh, sorry if that’s TMI for any of you.
And I never understood the argument that circumcision prevents penile cancer, which is extremely rare to begin with. I am far more likely to get breast cancer than any man is to get penile cancer, but nobody decided to cut my breasts off at puberty…just a thought.
