In the first edition of Civ III, I could delete my game saves from some menu. However, I have Civ III Complete, and if I want to delete game saves, I have to search my actual computer for .sav files, and then delete them. Am I missing some trick here?
I have the first edition of the game, and one of the first settings I changed was to make it use the OS’s open file interface instead of the one built into the game, because the built-in one was so clunky as to be practically unusable. So my advice would be to just go looking for the .sav files. They’re not hard to find: Unless you’ve been going out of your way to put them in weird places, they’re in a subfolder called “Saves” within your Civilization III folder.
My Civ III Complete doesn’t seem to have subfolders that are labeled as such, though the first edition did…I’ll poke around some more.
