Well, it looks like the money has finally been handed over.
Apparently, she will use the money to “fund her retirement” which is an oblique way of saying, “She’s gonna keep it.” Fine by me. I hope she lives very well on his former money. I hope she has friends send Donnie emails of them having a ball on his (again, former) dime.
Presumably 40% or whatever it is will go to her attorneys but she’s 82 so that should be plenty. The big award is coming next which can fund a foundation.

You see, there is a difference predicting something because we want it to happen, and predicting something, due to previous history, that we are afraid will happen. Previous history on his part told us that their was a damn good chance she would never see a cent of the money and we fucking ecstatic to be wrong.

I’d say the delay was “long,” not “really long.” I’ve seen cases where the delay is five years or more post-verdict. Three years seems to be high average.
