Why? I write what I want to say. I rarely have any interest in quoting anyone or referencing anything outside the thread where the discussion is happening.
Us old folks can be a bit Luddite and stuck in our ways. They tell me that my portable phone has a camera, but I never bothered to learn how to use it.

I just had one of the kids here at work look at my phone. I have over seventy pictures of the inside of my pocket saved on it. Live and learn.
Well, at the very least you can always just copy and paste whatever is in the address bar in your browser when you are on the page you want to share and post that. The board software will automatically parse it as a link.
The last time I tried something like that, the url was about three lines along and all the cool kids were laughing at me.

It looked, to me, like a humorous effort to call the attention of XXX19 to the ludicrous nature of his assertions without resorting to direct name-calling. Even after I quit chuckling, I felt no impulse to weigh in as a Mod on the exorcism.
(If the exorcism had been successful, however, I would have begun hounding you to apply to be a Moderator.)
