Great, now these fucking companies won’t have any money to fix the real problem.

BTW before anyone jumps down my throat, I’m sure there are some legitimate reasons for legal action, I just think that they will be severly outnumbered by the people with dollar signs in their eyes.

Then I read this and smile. 
Even useless pricks eventually get jobs nowadays. Some of them get their own law firms.
Its real easy to point fingers at FirstEnergy. But the truth is, and has been known for years, the transmission grid is not flawless. The industry has been devoting tons of money and thought to improving the nations grid operations. Its done wonders within the last ten years. The grid is moving more power and saving the consumers billions just because it has the ability to move energy around the country.
But its still very fragile. I don’t think these ambulance chasers realize what they are wading into. FirstEnergy can easily turn the tables and say that they are responsible for their own piece of turf but the other utilities should be resposible for separating themselves from the problem.
Its like, if you’re holding somebody’s hand and they fall, either one of you can prevent your own fall by letting go.
I hope that FirstEnergy fights those bastards till they wither from their own greed.

Wouldn’t it help to know what the hell caused it before you go suing willy nilly?
The lawyers make millions and millions of people get a check for $7, which doesn’t make a damn difference because our rates were jacked up $100 a month because they needed to defray the costs of a shotgun lawsuit.
What a crock.
Does this surprise you? Class action lawsuits are for the lawyers to get rich and the plantiffs to “make the bad guys suffer.” They can’t or won’t understand that it just increases their rates.
