Awhile ago, I heard about a classical pianist who recorded an album of motorhead songs done on classical piano. I’ve done numerous web searches etc, but I can’t find any information on the subject. Can someone tell me the person’s name, or the name of the album?
What? No one knows?
Hello Alias,
Sorry if you think this posting is an answer - it isn’t. Still, I can see the point in your not wanting this post to “die”.
I’ll have you know that I did serious Google searches that led nowhere.
Is there any other information you could offer? (I’m kind of curious myself now).
Are you sure you’re not thinking of Apocalyptica? They’re a cello quartet that do Metallica songs. That’s the best I have to offer.
I know that there’s a piano version, or at least one in progress, for Radiohead…

It strikes me as a strange idea, and I’m not sure that it would work very well at all.
:smack: Well, I’m officially an idiot. The person who mentioned it to me the other day said Motorhead, and I just accepted it without considering the possibility that he meant Radiohead. Oops. Sorry guys.
I’m left wondering what it would be like to have Motorhead covering Radiohead - or vice versa.
I’d buy that album.
