Mostly from the late 1950s. You’ll need RealPlayer installed to watch them, but it’s pretty nifty.
I watched the VW commercial. (I wasn’t alive in the '50s, so I never knew those cars.) I had to snicker at their claim that VWs are cheap and easy to fix. I’ve heard that simply changing the headlamp on a New Beetle requires a special tool. Last I heard, it was a $50 trip to the dealer. (Not to mention the horror stories I’ve heard about poor treatment from VW dealers.)
They don’t make cars like that anymore!

Apparently the original VWs were extremely easy to repair. A buddy of mine removed and rebuilt the engine in his bug on the side of I-5 between Long Beach and San Diego. He had a milk crate of spare parts and some basic tools with him. According to his story, it took about 4 hours.
