I did not know that. I just did a little reading and it appears it is allowed in some triathlons (Olympics) but not others (Iron Man).
Thanks for the education!
My cycle racing watching is mainly the Tour de France - team races.

Yup this. Team racing is different.
My wife has done quite a few Tri’s and drafting was a no-no.
Depends on how much force you use…
Would think you even need a day or three. We use the same techique to remove the dewclaws from our pups, 10-15 seconds with the hemostats, you can flick it off with your thumbnail.
Too late to edit - *wouldn’t, not would
A guy has Levi’s with a zipper and you think they’re cool?
If my range indicator drops below the range I want to go, I drop behind a Semi and let my cruise control “draft” behind it. (It wil keep a safe distance)
That dramatically improves my range (2x better at least).
For extra fun: it also improves the aerodynamics of the car in front.
Alternative suggestion; throw out a line and let the semi tow you for a few hundred miles, while you let your car batteries recharge.
He did clarify that it was ‘back in the day’. I remember this, too.
